This list includes, but is not limited to the 48-HP 4700, 40-HP 990 Advantage Series, 5005 Advantage Series, and many more.

In conclusion, there are many similarities as well as differences between the two companies. While Caterpillar hasn’t been around as long, they offer a wider range of products for several different uses. Fair from the renowned bond brokerage house of Pierce, Fair & Company, market leader Holt Caterpillar and the financially better off C.L. Best consolidated to form the Caterpillar Tractor Co. The company’s headquarters was located in San Leandro where it remained until 1930 were as per the terms of the merger agreement operations moved to Peoria.
